Waldorf Astoria Berlin

Staff was very friendly and professional. I wish though as a Hilton club member and chronic Waldorf stayer, an upgrade would have been offered with better view but can´t complain really We were extremely happy with car parking service - car was waiting for us upon departure with all luggage nicely put in place. Really helpful especially for women:)

Really great hotel, even the smallest room is larger than some people's apartment, the bathroom could be a spa in it's own, the bath tub is large enough to have a couple taking a romantic bath without even touching, the walk-in shower (both present) is somewhere you never want to leave, the spa is quite nice. The terrace with the bar has an amazing view. The location is great. If you get a good rate (switch around the dates a bit, the difference can be couple hundred Euros!) this is actually a better deal than most expensive hotels with super tiny rooms in cities like Barcelona.

The hotel is always very well-maintained. The Staff very professional and attentive. Especially in the Breakfast room. The position is excellent, close to the stores and the Metro.

The hotel really had the best service I have experienced in a top-notch hotel in a long time. For me, the best experience was with the concierge service. Long before our trip, there was a solution for everything, and they took so much work out of my hands that you cannot imagine. But everybody else (reception, breakfast staff, housekeeping, etc.) was really perfect, always friendly, committed, and the guests really felt special. It is something you can not find in many places anymore. Even room service with warm food at 11 p.m. was absolutely perfect. When we called a minute before the kitchen closed (the bar was closed for a private event and we were caught off guard), there was no moaning, or inconvenience in the voice on the phone, just a solution. Also, we had a wonderful meal in the room. At the time of my visit, there was no real restaurant in the hotel. Some snacks and ice cream, yes, but nothing worthy of such a hotel. That was a bit of a pity. And a lobby bar would be nice. But again, if you want to be pampered, this is the place to be. And of course, the location is also amazing. Thank you again to the staff for this perfect stay.
